Spitfire by Nsomniotic Spitfire by Nsomniotic
Spitfire! Created in June 2012. I really love her colors, so she was a blast to make. Her eyes gave me a little difficulty, but I survived.

I'm going to put up a comparison later of my first ever spitfire that I made with my sister, and this one now.

She sold at BronyCon. And I think she sold with Soarin', but I can't remember right now.

Thanks so much! That is so flattering and nice! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I plan on having a table at BronyCon again this year if I get lucky. I don't like in NY anymore, so it isn't easy for me to get to any of the pony meet-ups like I might wish =/

It is really hard to judge time because I don't just sit down and make each pony from start to finish. I usually make several at a time. So I can sculpt like 3 ponies manes/tails, bake them and then paint them all so while one is drying I can add details to the other, etc. But definitely several hours at least. The harder ones, maybe as many as 10? It is really hard to judge. The easier ones like Derpy, closer to 4-5. And the middle ones like this 6-7. Mostly because I had terrible paint for Spitfire's hair that I had to do a thousand layers with lol. I just bought new, better paint so hopefully I can cut down on time!

I always do full repaints. Some people use paint thinner to take off the cutie mark/eyes of the ponies so they only have to paint those parts, but I prefer how full repaints look. So if I made a Rainbow Dash out of a Rainbow Dash or out of a Fluttershy, it would be the same.

I visited Australia once when I was young - it was goregous! And maybe they'll have an Australian BronyCon for you to go to sometime in the future :)

And your welcome and thanks for all the love :)
